Miacomet Country Club

Welcome to Miacomet, Nantucket Island's only 18-hole public golf facility. Located within the Smooth Hummocks Coastal Preserve southwest of downtown Nantucket Island, this links-style course is owned by the Nantucket Islands Land Bank. The golf course is named after an area of the island once inhabited by Native Americans referred to as "Miacomet" or "the Meeting Place". Miacomet was expanded to 18 holes in the fall of 2003 and then renovated in 2007. Designed by the Howard Maurer Design Group, the refurbished course offers ample fairways and a mix of green sizes ranging from 3,000 to 6,000 square feet. The course is challenging yet very playable, with multiple tees that allow both professionals and amateurs equal opportunity for an enjoyable day on the links.
